The Cumulus Machine

Do you like your coffee cold, creamy, and delicious? Then this is the machine for you. There is truthfully nothing else like it on the market. We have a Breville at home and it’s great but like everything else it makes the coffee hot first and then you have to chill it yourself.

The Cumulus coffee is already cold and comes out silky smooth. It’s a great option to choose between cold brew, nitro, or espresso. 1 month in I’m still playing around with each flavor and brew option but they are all equally good

The machine overall is not loud at all but you do hear it if you’re in the kitchen running to keep the water cold. I’m up at 3am for work and I can use this machine without fear of waking up the whole house.

I switched to cold brew coffee about 10 years ago, preferring nitro, and have run the gamut of products and options for a decade. Brewing my own cold brew, buying flat nitro in cans, paying $7 at the coffee shop downtown … never satisfied or pleased with my choices. I had told a friend some five years ago that some day, some way, some one was going to figure out how to get me nitro coffee in my home without nitrogen cartridges and without requiring 8 steps. When I stumbled upon this machine a month ago I couldn’t have bought it faster. It arrived a few days later and I had my first home-brewed nitro coffee brewed within 15 minutes … watching those bubbles slowly fall like a draft-poured Guinness, I was immediately ready to reorganize my kitchen to accommodate my heavy albeit slim friend (machine weighs 30 pounds!). I found the perfect glasses (Bodum Pavina 12-oz Double Wall Glass, and accompanying 2.5-oz espresso glass), and my jubilation knows no bounds! The customer service line, both by email and phone, have been unbelievably responsive and helpful. Last night, on Saturday December 21, I was getting several email responses after 5pm, prompting me to thank this company with a review. One of my questions is something not on the website currently but something you may want to know: a pod of coffee I was told has between 200 and 250mg of caffeine, the decaf having between 7 and 10mg. If you’re on the fence about this machine, you shouldn’t be; it’s truly a pleasure to use.
