
Red, White & Blue
Make caffeination a celebration with the Red, White, and Blue Lucid Cold Brew. A festive, fruity drink that's as beautiful as it is delicious.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 oz fresh blueberries
- 1 oz blueberry jam
- 1 tsp powdered sugar
- 3 oz heavy cream
- 1 oz strawberry puree
- Cumulus Lucid (Still cold brew setting)
DIRECTIONS
Ice Cubes
- Add 2oz (60g) blueberries and 1oz (30g) blueberry jam to a small bowl or blender, combine the blueberries, blueberry jam, and 60 ml water. Stir or blend lightly to a loose, saucy consistency, not completely smooth.
- Drop one whole blueberry into each cavity of an ice cube tray.
- Spoon the blueberry jam mixture into each cavity, filling about ¾ full. Top off with water if needed.
- Freeze for a minimum of 4 hours, or overnight.
Note from the Cumulus Coffee Team: Large-format ice cube trays (2"×2") melt more slowly, keeping the drink cold longer without over-diluting.
Strawberry Cold Foam
- Combine heavy cream (3 oz) with strawberry puree (1oz), and 5g powdered sugar in a frothing pitcher or jar.
- Hand frother: Froth for 20–30 seconds until thick and foamy, not stiff. Mason jar shake method: Seal and shake vigorously for 45–60 seconds.
- Target texture: thick, pourable, and lightly aerated — it should slowly pour over the back of a spoon.
Build the Beverage
- Place 4–6 blueberry jam ice cubes into the 16oz glass.
- Brew Cumulus Lucid (still setting) over the ice.

Using the back of a bar spoon held just above the liquid surface, slowly pour the strawberry cold foam over the top so it floats as a distinct layer. Pour until the foam sits approximately 1–1.5 inches above the liquid line.

Place mini marshmallows directly on top of the foam.
